Born and bred in Berkeley California, Courtney has called some inspiring locales home including San Miguel de Allende Mexico, Lomma Sweden and Louisenhoj overlooking the town and harbor of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. Courtney eventually settled in New York City where he has been photographing passionately and creating visual stories for his clients since 1980.
